Features: 1,290-car, four-bay wide garage on five and one-half levels.

Description: The Wright College North Campus is strategically located to serve students, faculty, and staff employees. The garage features a unique four-bay wide ?double-?O? functional design ramping system, with 70? angled parking stalls and one-way traffic in each bay. The ?double-?O? system allows a search pattern where every space of two side-by-side bays is visible to the parker.

Horizontal spandrels of pre-cast concrete are used around the perimeter of the garage for aesthetic considerations. Three separate entrances and exits are provided to allow for maximum functionality of the garage. The structural frame is constructed of post-tensioned, cast-in-place concrete. Two glass-enclosed stair towers and a glass-backed stair/elevator tower have been provided for vertical circulation. The facility was designed with security in mind. A security fence is provided at the perimeter of the garage to control access. Call for Assistance stations are provided throughout the facility and CCTV is provided at the elevators. DESMAN is the Architect and Structural Engineer of Record for the facility.
