Description: DESMAN provided Owner’s Agent, Peer Review and Parking Consultant services for this 1,350 space parking facility development project adjacent to a new 250,000 sq. ft. courthouse. The State of Connecticut’s DPW, Department of Economic & Community Development, in addition to the Judicial Branch were all involved as programmed users of the parking facility. Future commercial developments served by the garage are adjacent to the facility. DESMAN developed program and schematic design documents, issued requests for qualifications from perspective proposes, worked with a committee selected by the City to coordinate the project and monitor development of design and construction documents. DESMAN reviewed all specialized operating systems including but not limited to vehicle / revenue control systems, security/CCTV systems, signage, graphics and lighting. DESMAN worked with the City’s Engineering Department to resolve all “punch-listed” concerns.
