Description: Prudential Insurance Company expanded its Woodbridge, NJ complex and needed to provide parking facilities for its employees. This 2500 space facility was designed to accommodate the peaking characteristics of office employees, from both a vehicular and pedestrian perspective. An elevator core was located centrally in the garage, which provided access to the newly constructed office tower via the mall level. A series of three ramps were included in the facility to accommodate the vehicular volumes and to eliminate queuing inside the garage during arrival and departure times. The facility's facade was designed in conjunction with HLW Architects and a distinctive blend of aggregates and cement was used to give the garage a granite look.
