Description: Parking Structures II & III represent the latest phases of development at the Washingtonian Center retail complex. Both parking garages were built using pre-cast concrete construction. Parking Structure II serves Kohl?s Department Store and was designed to support two added future flat floors on top of the current at-grade flat structured level of parking. An area was also allocated for a future stair/elevator core.
Parking Structure III features three flat levels of structured parking with about 80,000 square feet of street level retail area to complement a walking street environment. A central elevator hub connects an elevated and enclosed pedestrian skywalk bridge to the second level of a Target Department Store. Elevators are shopping cart accessible. Shopping cart corrals are placed on each level of the parking structure.
DESMAN is the Architect and Structural Engineer of Record and Parking Consultant for each structure, including the pedestrian bridge in garage III.
