Woodlands Mall Parking Garage

Features: 549 parking spaces to support Mervyn’s department store at the Woodlands Mall. The mall is 1,177,909 square feet of retail space featuring five major department stores, two levels, 170 tenants and a nearby 17-screen theater.

Description: DESMAN Associates was retained by General Growth Properties to prepare design/build criteria documents for a three level pre-cast parking structure for the newly expanding Woodlands Mall development. The Mall opened in 1994 in The Woodlands, a development near Houston, Texas. Ongoing commercial growth adjacent to the mall maintains the area's reputation as a major shopping and entertainment destination. The criteria documents were used to negotiate a design/build contract with the general contractor on-site.
