Tim Tracy - Desman Leadership

Based in New York, Tim Tracy oversees consulting and design assignments for DESMAN’s East Coast offices. He also provides corporate support to DESMAN’s nine offices.

His experience is in transportation, mobility, parking planning, and driving design solutions and improvements. He’s worked on institutional, and public and private sector projects for the past 35 years and has designed and managed more than 2,500 projects for the firm. Through this involvement, he’s developed a wide range of planning studies that include feasibility, master planning, traffic impact, parking demand and municipal parking programs.

Tracy has been involved in developing parking and transportation master plans for institutional, corporate, retail/entertainment, transportation agencies, airports, and municipal and medical facilities. While working on these projects, he applied conceptual and functional planning techniques, integrating internal roadway circulation and access, pedestrian movement and geometrics into short- and long-range infrastructure improvements and master plans. Innovation, sustainability and economic responsiveness are forefront in his design philosophy.

During his career, Tracy has served as project manager and Principal-in-Charge on countless parking projects, ranging from feasibility studies and functional design planning to preparation of construction documents. He applies his expertise by providing clients with innovative transportation, mobility and parking solutions. Tracy is an accepted expert witness, having provided professional testimony before zoning boards, planning boards and municipal organizations throughout the country over the past 35 years.
