Meet Jerry Phenney

Jerry Phenney (f-ee-n-ee) started with DESMAN in March of this year and works out of our Cleveland office as a Restoration Project Manager.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the great Michigan State University. Jerry has had a great career with over 40 years of industry experience.

During those 40 years, Jerry has also involved himself in many organizations within his field. Such as the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), holding several positions within the organization. In addition, he has been a member of the Cleveland Engineering Society (CES) since 1997, holding the title of Chairman of the CES Awards and Hall of Fame Committee. In 2016, Jerry also joined the Sealant, Waterproofing, Restoration Institute as a member of the Technical Committee.

Jerry is a man of many talents. Not only is he exceptional in his field of Civil Engineering but he also is an avid landscape and wildlife photographer. As you can see from the gorgeous photos below, Jerry has had his photographs published in several magazines over the years. One of Jerry’s many talents is also being a loving husband to his wife Marilyn and amazing father and grandfather to his 4 children and 2 grandchildren.  Jerry also loves to lift weights and workout and cook and grill for his big family.  Hopefully, we’ll be able to taste some of that cooking when we’re able to have company picnics/gatherings again.  Until then….welcome to the family Jerry!
