The City of Columbus Parking Garage has been designed to support the new City of Columbus City Hall which will be constructed in conjunction with the parking facility. The site is located at the northwest corner of N. Front Street and Long Street and has been designed to complement the new City Hall building in both form and materials.
The three-bay wide post-tensioned concrete parking structure will contain approximately 740 cars on 7 supported levels and will incorporate a single helix design with 90-degree parking and two-way traffic. The facility has been designed to accommodate future expansion to the west.
DESMAN is the Parking Consultant and Structural Engineer of Record. The architect team for both projects includes the Columbus firms of Schooley Caldwell Associates and DESIGN GROUP.
