Danville Breaks Ground on River City Parking Garage
The City recently broke ground on the new River City Parking Garage — a six-level, 432-space facility designed to support the ongoing revitalization of downtown and the future Riverfront Park development.
DESMAN is proud to serve as Structural Engineer of Record and Parking Consultant, working with BUILT FORM, LLC and Catapult Real Estate Solutions — the same team that successfully delivered Wilson, NC’s 750-space parking garage in 2022. Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. is the General Contractor for the Danville project.
The garage will feature a precast, prestressed concrete frame founded on soil improved with short aggregate piers and include provisions for future access and revenue control systems.
